Stuart Galbraith, the Director and Founder of Kilimanjaro Live Group, and theatre producer Joshua Andrews have announced the creation of Kilimanjaro Theatricals, a new entity which will produce (and co-produce) theatrical ventures in New York, across the U.K. and beyond.

Kilimanjaro Theatricals will focus on both the creative development of its own works as well as a number of strategic co-productions in partnership with other producers. The global scope of Kilimanjaro Theatricals are well reflected in its current slate of projects: 9 to 5 in London's West End, Muriel's Wedding - The Musical in Australia, and Hadestown on Broadway.

Outside of this new venture, Andrews continues to independently produce his existing portfolio, including the hugely successful Peter James stage franchise, based on novels of the best-selling crime author, and projects with Kay Mellor including Fat Friends - The Musical and the upcoming stage production of Band of Gold.

On the new collaboration, Joshua Andrews said: "Stuart and I have been talking about this idea for some time and I am delighted to now be starting this journey with him and the talented Kilimanjaro team. We believe that by combining our varied skills, experience and relationships we can create an exciting and successful new theatrical enterprise and we look forward to developing our own works as well as co-producing with others around the world".

Stuart Galbraith also said: "Kilimanjaro Group has wanted to land into the world of theater for several years. We are hugely excited to combine our ambitions with Josh's unmatched skills and experience in this new venture."

Stuart Galbraith is the CEO of Kilimanjaro Group whose ownership includes Kilimanjaro Live, Flying Music Group, and Belladrum Festival (Scotland). The group of companies produces and promotes music concerts, musical theatre, comedy, spoken word, festivals, family events and social media events, working with shows and artistes as diverse as Ed SHeeran, Andrea Bocelli, Thriller Live, Kew the Music, The Illusionists, Nitro Circus and Metallica. The group of companies sells over 1.5 million tickets per year.

Two time Olivier nominated producer Joshua Andrews, produced for Bill Kenwright Ltd before setting up his own venture to produce and manage plays and musicals, via which he has produced the successful play franchise of Peter James novels, the Olivier Award-winning An American In Paris in the West End and Kay Mellor's Fat Friends - The Musical on a major UK tour. He also co-produced the Olivier nominated A Streetcar Named Desire starring Gillian Anderson, with The Young Vic, in London and at St. Ann's Warehouse in New York. Other 2019 projects include the next Peter James adaptation, The House on Cold Hill and stage adaptations of the global best selling novel, The Girl On The Train and Kay Mellor's iconic TV series, Band of Gold.
