Former New York Times Digital Theater Editor Erik Piepenburg Joins Serino Coyne

Serino Coyne LLC announced today that Erik Piepenburg, formerly of The New York Times, has joined the agency in the role of features editor.

Piepenburg joins the live entertainment marketing agency directly from The New York Times, where he served as the digital theater editor. He brings unique expertise to Serino Coyne, where he will help broaden the agency's storytelling capabilities and enhance content created for its clients.

Erik Piepenburg was a writer, editor, and producer at The New York Times for over 14 years. For over a decade he was the Times's digital theater editor, responsible for content on multiple platforms. In addition to writing features and managing interactive projects, he originated and produced several theater-related franchises, including Tony Awards(r) concerts at Feinstein's/54 Below; In Performance, a popular music and monologue video series; and Behind the Poster, a regular series about theater poster design. He began his journalism career at NBC in Chicago, where he was a digital producer for MSNBC.com.
