Eric William Morris, Jared Zirilli, and Kristy Cates will lead a developmental workshop of MALE FLEISCHMAN. Jeremy Dobrish directs the new work by Jon D'Agostino and Michael August.
The musical tells the story of a devoted Italian-American family thrown into turmoil when a simple DNA test exposes long-buried secrets. Blending humor and emotion, the story explores identity, loyalty, and what truly defines family.
Joining Morris (King Kong), Zirilli (Donna Summer), and Cates (Wicked) will be Marilyn Caserta and Lauren Singerman. The ensemble includes Jefferson Behan, Toni diBuono, James Donegan, and Jarrod Scott. Stage directions read by Aidan Cole.
The workshop will feature music by Jon D'Agostino and Michael August. Book and lyrics by Jon D'Agostino. Music direction by Mark Baron. Stage manager is Griffin O'Connor. Rogue Theater, Allison Hohman and Owen Mannion serve as General Management. Executive Producer is Jon D'Agostino. Casting is by Karie Koppel.
