In urban dictionary, "hopelandic" is a made up language (created by Sigur Rós) which the sound of the word is a meaning and a story to each individual. The Icelandic band, Sigur Rós, known for its ethereal sound and the use of bowed guitar, abandoned English and sings their lyrics in hopelandic, having no semantic meaning, simply glossolalia.
The tour continues in 2013 with a new live show, an 11-piece live band and new material. Sigur Rós, also noticeable for its incorporation of classical and minimalist aesthetic elements, is coming to Jakarta on Friday, 10 May 2013, at Istora Senayan.
