Known for her powerful and riveting vocals, Broadway's Darling N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim on Sondheim) will grace the stage in Classic FM's Four Decades of Radio Hits show with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor, Jack Everly for two days dedicated to the best-of-the best from the FM radio dial, Friday, November 20 (11:00am/8:00pm) and Saturday, November 21 (8:00pm), 2015.

Continuing to grace stages around the country with her enthralling sound, N'Kenge is back in Indianapolis with the Symphony bringing nostalgic memories of over four decades of solid gold classics from groups like Chicago and Abba; and singers Barbara Streisand, Gloria Gaynor, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel and many more.

The NY Post called N'Kenge "Electrifying" in the role of Mary Wells that she originated in Broadway's Smash Hit Motown: The Musical. N'Kenge made her Broadway debut in Sondheim on Sondheim alongside Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Norm Lewis and Tom Wopat which was directed by Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine. In London, she made her West End debut starring in The Genius of Ray Charles. N'Kenge also starred in the Michael Jackson Tribute Show World Tour and has also been seen as a soloist at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony, Baltimore Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra to name a few.

N'Kenge has a new album debuting on Angels Like Rebels (www.angleslikerebels.com) record label this month, so the audiences will be getting a taste of what kind of feeling she invokes when you are in her presence. Nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress by Helen Hayes Awards in DC for her performance in 3 Mo'Divas and Nominated by Arizoni Awards for Best Actress in the lead role of Elton John's Aida. N'Kenge performed at the Library of Congress which was broadcast worldwide on NPR and had the honor of performing for President Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball. This October, N'Kenge performed excerpts from the Broadway bound musical production Akhenaten: The Musical at the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art where she plays the lead role of Queen Ti.

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is led by Krzysztof Urbanski, who is one of the industry's youngest Music Director's of a major American orchestra along with being one of the most acclaimed and respected young conductors in the world. ISO is known for performing a wide range of musical repertoire from great classical works to pops to family classics. After a successful run of sold out concerts with the Symphony this summer in BROAWAY DIVAS, N'Kenge is excited to return to ISO for another run this fall. It will be an experience unlike any other!
