Fort Wayne Civic Theatre's A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL Begins Tonight

By:

Fort Wayne Civic Theatre presents A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL at Arts United Center, tonight, November 7-22, 2015.

Featuring book by Joseph Robinette and music & lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL is based upon the motion picture A CHRISTMAS STORY © 1983 Turner Entertainment Co., distributed by Warner Brothers written by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown and Bob Clark and In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd.

Ralphie Parker only wants one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder Air Rifle. A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL is the hilarious account of Ralphie's quest to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa himself that this is the perfect gift. This new Broadway musical based on the classic 1983 movie, features funny and heartfelt songs and captures a nostalgic holiday spirit of days gone by. You'll see all the treasured moments from the motion picture including the school bully; the tongue on the flag post; the temperamental furnace and more! Directed by Doug King.
