Fifth Annual Northeast Indiana Playwright Festival Calls For Script Submissions; Deadline 9/1

The Northeast Indiana Playwright Festival is looking for script submissions that will be considered for first, second, and third place!

Types of material: one acts to full length plays.

Frequency of Festival: annual.

Remunerations: 1st Place-$750, 2nd Place-$500,

3rd Place-$250, and possible stage reading and/or production in May 30 - June 15, 2014 at the Auer Center ArtsLab as a Civic Theatre Production. The top 3 winning playwrights will receive one free pass to the festival and MUST attend the festival.

Guidelines: current or former resident of Indiana, must be 19 years of age or older, unproduced and unpublished plays only (no musicals), suggested sets or unit set, cast limit of 10, previous submission ineligible unless prior permission is granted, 1 submission limit.

Submission procedures: 10 single sided pages of your script, 1 page synopsis, playwright's bio and contact information. The playwright's name should only appear on the title page and not on the subsequent pages of the script. Entry form available on-line at www.fwcivic.org . Script submissions will not be returned. No entry fee.

Deadline:
September 1, 2013.
Notification: January - 2014.
Festival Performance/Reading dates:
May 30 - June 1, 2014
(1st Place Play runs: May 30 - June 15, 2014).
