'Sivana' - An oasis of music, is a two day festival of Indian classical music featuring the talented artists. These four artists are part of the present bundle of artists who have established themselves as the torchbearers of our rich legacy through their musical prowess. They have created firm confidence amongst listeners, as the redoubtable Gen Next of Indian Classical Music. The music presented by these artists is a fine blend of traditional music merging with the different genres of world music.
DAY 1 - Ayaan Ali Khan (Sarod) and Devaki Pandit (Vocal)
Sarod Stalwart Ayaan Ali Khan, son of Legendary Sarod Player Ustad Amjad Ali Khan is one of the finest Sarod players India has produced. Ayaan Ali Khan has made his mark nationally as well as Internationally in the field of music. He will be playing alongside Devaki Pandit, who has created magic in the world of classical music in a very short span of time.
DAY 2- Bahauddin Dagar (Rudra Veena) and Venkatesh Kumar (Vocal)
Baha'ud'din Mohiuddin Dagaris theRudra Veena player and the son of the legendary Rudra Veena maestro Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar and nephew of the renowned vocalist Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar. He plays rudra veena with thedagarbanistyle. Accompanying him will be Venkatesh Kumar, an Indian Hindustani classical vocalist who is renowned for his husk, vibrant classical singing style.
