Euphony is a unique organisation that embarks on a remarkable journey by incorporating memorable celebrations of Rahul Dev Burman’s music. Since 2007, Euphony has organised 26 shows featuring the original Pancham musicians, people who were part of Panchamda’s team, musicians who helped materialise the musical compositions of Panchamda. It’s two decades since He has left this earth but He remains alive in every second of our existence. These great musicians keep this music alive in the stage shows that we have been so passionately organising over the last 6 years.
In our 27th venture, we are bringing an all brass gang comprising the great Kishore Sodha on Trumpet, his elder Raj Sodha on Saxophone, Blasco Monsorate on Trombone and Shyamraj on Tenor Sax.
Brass has always been the mainstay of Panchamda’s compositions. With the blowing of Trumpet in Bachna Aye Haseeno, or the Trombone blast in Shaan, Saxophone pieces in innumerable compositions, Panchamda left his mastery in thousands of songs that reigned supreme in the hearts of legions of music lovers all round the globe. Our show will pick some of those eternal gems and the musicians will revive the golden memories of the past. This high voltage brass gang are all set to set the stage of Kalamandir on fire, for sure.
