Kapil Srivastava Gives Musical Tribute to DDLJ

Indian guitarist Kapil Srivastava gave a musical tribute to 1000 week completion of movie DDLJ at Must Art Gallery, South Delhi.

DDLJ, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, a film released on Oct 20, 1995 has completed its 1000th week, and is now one of the longest-running movies of Bollywood ever.

"There is a reason I chose to pick this song in Top 5 melodies of Bollywood for Season # 2 of GM Tune Time. Besides all the fame this movie achieved for last 20 years, the movie's songs are true blend of Indian Folk and western mix. I remember people used to go only to watch this song during our school times. The song 'Tujhe Dekha' represents a peppy melody well blended with Keherva rhythm flavour and it adds lots of Indianism and beauty to the whole song. Thanks to great Jatin Lalit for their valuable contribution to music and they will always be remembered for this" said Kapil Srivastava.
