Feature: TALEEM THEATRE WORKSHOP by Vayam Performing Arts Society

Vayam-the Performing Arts Society begins with its 5th edition of 'Taaleem' this June. Taaleem is a platform for all theatre aspirants who want to live their passion for theatre. Trained by professionals, we thrive to make the students feel like home. Vayam is a family and that is reflected in our workshop. Taaleem's curriculum is specifically and scientifically designed by trained professionals and is more along the lines of Modern Gurukul. We believe in skills and talent but values are the backbone of our system and process. We bring a platform, provide exposure and opportunity to the young theatre wizards who want to learn and embrace the art as well as promote it.

Taaleem is a theatre course which is conducted with the aim to develop the overall personality of participants and inculcate a variety of theatre skills including acting, speech, visualization, expressions etc. in a joyful manner. Artists from all walks of life meet together as a unit every session spending 3 hours at the workshop every day. Taaleem projects a desire for knowledge, recognition, and self-consciousness. The scope of the course includes acting and mime, personality development, leadership and teamwork and the list goes on. Taaleem helps in nurturing creativity, concept building, management, enhance communication skills, characterization, direction, martial arts and dance. At the end of the workshop, the students will be given certificates as well as be prepared for a theatrical performance. With skills and talent brimming in this century, we have come up with successfully run creations like 'Platform No. 8' and 'Malgudi Ke Gaon Se', both banging houseful. The workshop starts on 14th June 2018 and this time the students better are well prepared for an extraordinary journey with Vayam.

Vayam has always aimed at perfection, excellence, and discipline and will always continue to do so. Students are under the guidance of experts who are less of a coach and more of a friend. We want to remove the barrier and create an inspiration to the youth to follow their passion and love their work. The beauty of theatre is best enjoyed when it is shared with others who are equally comfortable in their own skin as you are and Taaleem provides a platform to just that. Below are the details-
