Apollo Chamber Players presents ENLIGHTEN, a multidisciplinary program that explores the cultural influences shaping the democratic spirit of America. The concert features the world premiere of Lembit Beecher’s composition, Cassette Dreams of the Singing Revolution, inspired by the Baltic nonviolent uprising. Narrated by Indigenous actress Amelia Rico, the program also highlights Jerod Impichcha's Moonstrike, celebrating Native American heritage and its role in American democracy. This concert is the second in the four-part American Story series, connecting music and history in a reflection on national identity as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary.
