Singers from the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston's upcoming production of The Gondoliers will perform a live pre-show before a screening of the 1999 British film Topsy-Turvy, written and directed by Mike Leigh. The film explores the creative conflict between playwright W.S. Gilbert and composer Arthur Sullivan and their decision to continue their partnership, which led to several more Savoy operas. Participating singers include Richard Paul Fink, Meaghan Heath, Sean Holshouser, Kaitlyn Stavinoha, Riley Vagis, and Joe Carl White, with Andrew Schneider as accompanist.
