Decadent chorus girl Sally Bowles is determined to live a life of carefree ignorance. An American writer dreams that he can save Sally and change the course of events, but he is powerless in the face of Nazi brutality.Cabaret is a devastating critique of apathy, and a clever and terrifying look at totalitarianism.
