The holidays are a time for family and friends to gather around the hearthside to share stories and traditions, and that’s exactly what Queensbury Theatre is offering again to Houston audiences. Veteran actor John Stevens reprises his acclaimed solo rendition of Charles Dickens’ beloved tale of the misanthropic Scrooge and his overnight transformation. Through the virtuoso performance of this gifted actor every character comes magically alive. Full of warmth and yuletide cheer, everyone’s favorite tale has been condensed to hit all the classic and memorable moments. This version is a true delight, and movingly showcases Dickens’ original intent.
