The Health Museum to Host Texas Two Step: Save a Life Campaign 2017
On Saturday, February 11, 2017 and Sunday February 12, 2017 The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science will host free CPR training sessions for members of the public at The Health Museum. The hands-only CPR trainings are part of the second annual statewide effort known as the Texas Two Step: Save a Life Campaign 2017, and will be led by medical students from Texas medical schools and the national nonprofit, HealthCorps - founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz. The public will have an opportunity to learn CPR from Dr. Oz during the session on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:15-10:45 a.m. All other CPR trainings will be led by medical students.
Admissions is free for the CPR training, but guests will need to purchase an admissions ticket to view exhibits at The Health Museum.
