TUTS Underground Steams Up Zilkha Hall with MURDER BALLAD, Now thru 4/27

By: Apr. 17, 2014

TUTS Underground is set to steam up Zilkha Hall with the sultry story of love's dark side in MURDER BALLAD, running tonight, April 17-27, 2014.

A love triangle gone wrong, Murder Ballad centers on Sara, an Upper West Sider who seemingly has it all but whose downtown past lingers enticingly and dangerously in front of her. This sexy, explosive, new musical explores the complications of love, the compromises we make, and the betrayals that can ultimately undo us.

Murder Ballad features a concept, book and lyrics by Julia Jordan and music and lyrics by indie rock singer/songwriter Juliana Nash.

Special features include a fully operational bar on stage, the show's sexy, modern day murder mystery, and a VIP Bar Fly Package available with onstage bar-side tables.

It all takes place at the Hobby Center For The Performing Arts - Zilkha Hall, located at 800 Bagby, Houston, TX. Tickets will be available starting February 9 at TUTSUnderground.com, by phone at (713) 558-TUTS (8887), outside the Houston area at (888) 558-3882, or in person at the Theatre Under The Stars Box Office, located at 800 Bagby, Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Saturday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
