TUTS Plans Changes for Underground Series
Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) announced today that the TUTS Underground Series will be undergoing a renovation of sorts and will re-emerge with fresh look and exciting offerings for audiences.
We're constantly improving the audience experience and are enhancing the program. The TUTS Underground series has been a wonderful way to experiment with a variety of programming and to learn more about our audiences. Over the past three years we have cultivated a loyal following of fans and supporters.
The original concept was presented with some very specific limitations (no revivals, no dead authors...), and a narrow focus on "edgy" or "alternative" programming that alienated some of the community from enjoying the series.
With this remodel, we aim to expand upon the series and open the possibilities for the types of shows we present.
And for anyone who knows construction, you know good things take time to build... so stay tuned for upcoming information and regular updates about the grand reopening!
