The Texas Repertory Theatre Co., Houston's Uptown Classic Theatre, continues its 10th Anniversary "Greatest Hits" Season with a new staging of Neil Simon's classic comedy The Odd Couple, playing 4 performances a week from May 7th through May 29th.

The most famous of Neil Simon's comedies, this hilarious play became not only a successful film but also a long-running television classic. Produced by The Texas Repertory in its 2009 season, The Odd Couple became one of The Texas Repertory Theatre's all-time audience favorites. When divorce throws the slovenly Oscar Madison and the persnickety Felix Unger together in a small New York apartment, the conflict creates an absolutely hysterical pressure chamber as these two unlikely friends try to survive each other's neurosis. Add in a group of dysfunctional poker buddies, and a pair of British airline stewardesses, and you've got one of Neil Simon's greatest triumphs.

The Texas Repertory Theatre revival of The Odd Couple features Jeffrey S. Lane and Texas Repertory Artistic Director Steven Fenley reprising their roles as Oscar and Felix respectively, and a cast of Texas Repertory company members, all under the direction of award-winning Director Troy Scheid.
