Society For The Performing Arts And Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center Present Master Class Dance Series

As part of the tradition of "bringing the world's best to Houston," Society for the Performing Arts, (SPA) in partnership with the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, presents a series of innovative dance master classes. This SPA at the J series brings the expertise of world-renowned dancers, choreographers, and teaching artists from all over the globe directly to Houston.

Classes are open to the public for intermediate dancers and up. Appropriate dance attire is required.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Company

A staple of the SPA dance series, Alvin Ailey brings their world-renowned contemporary dance craft along with their well-proven Horton technique back to Houston.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago

Celebrating 40 years in contemporary dance, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago brings its diverse repertoire and comprehensive teaching style that encourages risk-taking.

Ballet Hispánico
Thursday, May 17
7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Featuring an all-Latina choreographer program, Ballet Hispánico explores Latinx culture through contemporary dance and impeccable technique.This program is generously supported by the SunTrust Foundation.

Founded in 1966, Society for the Performing Arts (SPA) is the largest independent non-profit presenting organization in the Southwest. Since its inception, SPA has sponsored more than 1,000 performances of the world's finest music, dance and theater events, in adherence to the belief that the arts are fundamental to the overall enrichment and quality of life within the community.
