Stage Door Inc.'s Sweeney Todd opens tonight, July 5th and runs through July 28th. Click below to watch a trailer for the show!
SDI is taking a Steampunk style twist on Sondheim's rare, musical thriller. Sweeney Todd is a suspenseful, and at times humorous telling of the infamous tale of the murderous barber of Fleet Street in London. Sweeney Todd, the unjustly exiled barber, returns to London seeking revenge. His thirst for blood soon expands to include his unfortunate customers. And he is helped along his murderous way by the opportunistic pie-shop owner downstairs.
Stage Door Inc. is a local, community theatre located inside the Pasadena Town Square Mall. Voted Best Family Entertainment Venue in Pasadena for the last two years in a row by the Pasadena Citizen readers, Stage Door is a true "community" theater. They partner with the Pasadena Strawberry Festival and are proud members of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors or students with ID. Group rates are available for all performances. Reserve seats by phone at (832) 582-7606 or online at www.stagedoorinc.com.
