Playhouse 1960 to Stage OTHER DESERT CITIES, 1/23-2/7
Playhouse 1960 presents Other Desert Cities by Jon Robin Baitz. Running January 23 through February 7, 2015, playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.
In Other Desert Cities, Brooke Wyeth returns home to Palm Springs to visit her parents after a six-year absence. A once-promising novelist, she announces to her family the imminent publication of a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family's history - a wound that her parents don't want reopened. The Wyeth family Christmas erupts when daughter Brooke arrives bearing a soon-to-be-published memoir full of family secrets.
Starring John Stevens, Bonnie Hewett, Maria O. Sirgo, Jacque Dowell, and Steve Dowell. Directed by Karen Daugherty.
