Photo Flash: Meet the Cast of SRO Productions' SILENCE! THE MUSICAL

SILENCE! The Musical (lyrics & music by Jon Kaplan & Al Kaplan and book by Hunter Bell) will be produced by Standing Room Only Productions at Obsidian Theater (www.obsidiantheater.org). With direction by Chris Patton, music direction by Eduardo Guzman, choreography by Eric Dano and assistant direction and stage management by Lauren Hainley, the production will run June 9 through June 25, 2016. The award-winning SILENCE! The Musical is a hilarious 'unauthorized' parody of the 1991 Academy Award winning film, "The Silence of the Lamb". Rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling matches wits with the brilliant but insane cannibal, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, in order to catch the serial killer known as Buffalo Bill. Clarice faces her own demons while racing the clock to unlock , Lecter's clues before another innocent girl is killed and skinned by Buffalo Bill. This laugh-out-loud and very-naughty satire features a singing chorus of floppy eared lambs narrating the action as Buffalo Bill gleefully dances a hoedown while kidnapping hapless Catherine Martin. Even Dr. Lecter, scary as ever, sings about the life he'd like to lead someday outside the prison walls.

The cast of SILENCE! The Musical features Rachel Landon as Clarice, Chris Gibson as Hannibal Lecter, Bryan Kaplun as Buffalo Bill, Chaney Moore as Catherine Martin/Senator Martin/Ensemble, Tom Stell as Crawford/Papa Starling/Ensemble, Kiefer Slaton as Dr. Chilton/Ensemble, Maryann Williams as Ardelia/Ensemble, Taelon J. Stonecipher as Miggs/Ensemble, and Heather Buzonas as Doyle/Ensemble.
