SPEAKEASY is an immersive theatre experience that will provide audiences with a glimpse into the Prohibition era. The show features popular 1920's era hits such as Charleston, I Want to Be Bad and You Oughta Be in Pictures, as well as, roaring dance numbers. The cast of this rip roaring send-up to the 1920's is not to be missed - and features Tamara Robertson as Texas, Simone Gundy as Samantha, Sarah Konkel as Gertrude, Ragan Richardson as Lucie, Alli Villines as Helen, Ryan Smith as Clarence, Darry Hearon as Eugene, Justin White as Vince and Kiefer Slaton as Jake.

Simone Gundy, who portrays SPEAKEASY nightclub singer Samantha LaRue, in a recent interview stated that "I definitely relate to her (Sam). She lives life in the moment and doesn't look back. She feels happy to do what she loves everyday -which is a passion I can totally understand. I would say the moral (of SPEAKEASY) is to define who you are by your own choices and not what is socially acceptable or unacceptable. Each character in this show has some sort of identity crisis on varying levels and they eventually learn to make their own choices and follow their happiness".

Don't miss the incomparable Simone Gundy and the rest of the fabulous cast of SPEAKEASY, a New Musical as they bring to life this world premiere at Obsidian Theater. Performance dates are April 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 @ 8:00pm. Obsidian Theater is located at 3522 White Oak in the heart of the Heights and the White Oak dining and entertainment district.
