Photo Flash: First Look at Theatre Southwest's CRITICS CHOICE

By:
Theatre Southwest presents "Critics Choice" by Ira Levin, directed by Malinda L. Beckham, running February 22-March 16, 2013. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the show in the photos below!

This bright and witty comedy tells the story of theater critic Parker Ballantine whose second wife, Angela, writes a play which is produced on Broadway. The play is awful and Parker must decide whether or not to review the play honestly. Add an opinionated Mother (in law), a precocious child, an ex-wife, and a gregarious director and the result is classic comedy!
The cast features Tyrell Woolbert as Ivy London, Raven Nicholson as John Ballantine, Sammi Sicinski as Essie, Rhett Martinez as Dion Kapakos, Cheryl Tanner as Charlotte Orr, John Mitsakis as Parker Ballantine and Courtney McManus as Angela Ballantine.
The show is directed by Malinda L. Beckham, with production manager and sound design by Trevor B. Cone, stage manager Damonica Jenkins, lighting design by John Baker and light board operator Lauren Wijangco.

The production runs Fridays and Saturdays, 8 pm (matinee, Sunday March 3 at 3 pm). Tickets are $17; Students & Seniors $15. For reservations, visit theatresouthwest.org or email tickets@theatresouthwest.org or call (713) 661 9505. Theatre Southwest is located at 8944A Clarkcrest.
