PHOTO FLASH: Buddy the Elf Brings Sparklejollytwinklejingley Joy to Houston METRORail

Just like Auntie Mame sings in MAME, we all need a little Christmas! And, for some unsuspecting Houstonians, Buddy the Elf and two of his elf friends, Peppermint Stix and Salty Snow (a.k.a. Salt and Pepper), took to the METRORail yesterday to share their Sparklejollytwinklejingley joy! The ebuillent trio rode the METRORail during the lunch hour on Tuesday, December 10 and greeted metro riders and anyone else they could find hanging about the rail stops.
This festive surprise was hosted by Theatre Under the Stars, who is currently producing ELF: THE MUSICAL. ELF is playing the Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, 800 Bagby Street, Houston, 77002 now through December 22, 2013. Performances are Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. For more information and tickets, please visit http://www.tuts.com or call (713) 558-8887.
