14 Pews Opens Bechdel Film Festival at MFAH, 2/15
14 Pews opens its Bechdel Film Festival on February 15, 2018 with a screening of BOMBSHELL: THE HEDY LAMARR STORY at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. But it has a lot more in store.
Before the 7 p.m. screening of BOMBSHELL: THE HEDY LAMARR STORY, 14 Pews serves up happy hour at the Beck porte cohere and authentic Puerto Rican food from Mi Garita, a food-truck operated by two women. The featured beer of the night will be Southern Star Bombshell. For the festival dates and locations, please visit 14pews.org.
And organizers have added two screenings of short films on Saturday and Sunday to accomodate the many out-of-town filmmakers visiting and two extra cocktail mixers because the girls just wanna have fun!
