Celebrate African American History Month with Young Audiences of Houston
Make Your Voice Heard Connect with local and state leaders to share your opinion around key educational issues. The arts support empathy and collaboration and build vibrant and diverse communities. We believe that every child should have access to innovative learning through community partnerships, fine arts educators and arts during after-school time in order to support a well-rounded education for all.
Young Audiences of Houston supports regional system changes through collective impact efforts in partnership with artists, educational leaders and members of the Houston community. In order to support Houston children through the arts and arts-in-education for 237,800 students annually, we partner with over 250 schools, community centers, libraries and juvenile detention centers to serve children of all ages.
We encourage all parents, families and community leaders to make your voice heard both locally and statewide. Our partners at the Texas Cultural Trust, a statewide arts advocacy group, have launched the Art Can campaign, helping parents find resources to share their voice for the arts directly to local board members and state legislators.
Join Young Audiences as a volunteer, contributor, artist or a connector for your community!
