BWW Interviews: Dixie Longate Talks Tupperware, Touring, and DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY
Dixie Longate is a fast-talking Tupperware Lady from Mobile, Alabama. She packed up her catalogues, left her children in her trailer park and took Off-Broadway, London & Melbourne by storm! Starting June 4, 2013, Dixie Longate is throwing two-weeks worth of good ol'fashioned Tupperware Parties at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts' Zilka Hall.
Recently, Dixie Longate and I sat down to chat about Tupperware, touring, and DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY! Check out our video interview below:
As you can see from the video, Dixie Longate's shows and parties are sure to be filled with outrageously funny tales and heartfelt accounts. There will also be FREE giveaways, audience participation, and the most fabulous assortment of Tupperware ever sold on a theater stage.
Also, Dixie Longate and her show are filled to overflowing with the most up-to-date products available for purchase. You are invited to see for yourself how Ms. Longate became a member of the illustrious "#1 Tupperware Seller in the World" Club, as she discusses and demonstrates a myriad of her self-discovered, alternative uses for Tupperware!
In addition to the interview, Dixie Longate also filmed a very special Shout Out to BroadwayWorld.com readers. See the video:
DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY runs from June 4 - 16, 2013 and contains adult themes and content not appropriate for children under 16. For more information and tickets, please visit http://www.tuts.com or call 713.558.TUTS (8887).
