Greek National Opera Provides an Update on COVID-19 Safety Measures

All ticket holders of the suspended performances will be contacted by the Greek National Opera’s box office.

In the context of the new preventive measures against the spread of the coronavirus announced by the Government, including the suspension of the operation of theatres for one month starting from 3 November 2020, the Greek National Opera announces:

Stavros Niarchos Hall - SNFCC

- The suspension of the concert 250 years of Beethoven that was scheduled for 5 November.

- The suspension of the two last performances of Madama Butterfly that were scheduled for 8 and 15 November.

- The suspension of the first two performances of Don Quixote, that were scheduled for 21 & 29 November.

Alternative Stage - SNFCC

- The suspension of the two last days of the Alternative Stage Piano Festival (6 & 7 November)

- The suspension of the three performances of the Four Seasons, that were scheduled for 15, 22 and 29 November.

- The suspension of the production Akhmatova's Requiem & The anniversary, that was scheduled for 20, 21, 27 & 28 November.

All ticket holders of the suspended performances will be contacted by the Greek National Opera's box office to be offered a refund or the possibility to exchange their tickets for another performance date or for another production. GNO Box Office call center: 2130885700 (daily 09.00-21.00).
