The Greek National Opera Will Hold Auditions For Cello Player
The successful candidate will be employed by the Greek National Opera under a fixed-term employment contract of nine (9) months.
The Greek National Opera (GNO) announces an audition to fill one (1) position for a Cello player to meet the staffing requirements of its artistic productions from November 2026. The successful candidate will be employed by the Greek National Opera under a fixed-term employment contract of nine (9) months, with the possibility of of renewal at the discretion of the Greek National Opera.
Applicants wishing to participate in the audition must complete the relevant Application Form (see here) and attach it to their application email, together with copies of their academic qualifications and a curriculum vitae. Applicants who are currently employed by another orchestra within the wider Greek public sector (e.g. ERT, the Municipality of Athens, etc.), whether under a fixed-term or permanent contract, must also attach an official certificate from their employer stating their total monthly remuneration.
