Second Chances: The Thrift Shop Musical is a touching and inspirational new musical comedy about the quirky characters who run The Second Chances Thrift Shop. When the church thrift shop is threatened to be sold, the team pulls together to save the store. You'll meet the hilarious lead clerk who always brings sunshine to the day with humor, the couple who work in the collection area who discover that you can find love later in life, the young mother that's the new shop manager trying to start over and more! Spend a year with the loveable, yet quirky, group and see how they band together to save the shop and discover it's not just old treasures that are getting Second Chances!
"After appearing on a small stage, Second Chances is now continuing its development with a 'Big Stage' production: some editing, revisions, shorter scene changes, and new music. Any original production goes through several development stages. I am very excited about this possibility at the beautiful Sugden Theatre in downtown Naples before it continues a tour on the East Coast and opens at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Lancaster, PA in May 2017," said Mr. Prather.
Second Chances: The Thrift Shop Musical will be at the Sugden Community Theatre May 26 through May 29, 2016 for six performances only. Performances are Thursday through Sunday evenings with matinees on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
