Shows will be held at First Presbyterian Theater from September 29 – October 1, 2023.
Fort Wayne Youtheatre has partnered with international Theatrefolk Publishing to bring the world premiere of The House to the First Presbyterian Theater stage later this month.
Did that door just creak open on its own? Where are those eerie footsteps coming from? Only the spirits know…and they are watching you…Based on stories such as Edgar Allen Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher, the story of The House is a captivating and spooky tale that follows three teenagers who enter a local haunted house to find inspiration for a school project. As five haunting tales unfold before their eyes, the teens begin to feel like something is off about the house.
“This show is unlike anything you can find in Fort Wayne,” says director Morgan Montgomery. “It’s spooky, it’s creepy, it’s thrilling, it has everything you want during the Halloween season. And – it’s perfect for grades 3 and up, so even the young ones can experience it without losing sleep at night. At Youtheatre, we strive to create live theatre for all ages, and this show is no exception.”
