Overview
Youngblood is Ensemble Studio Theatre's OBIE-winning collective of early-career playwrights based in the New York City metro area. Accepted writers become members for a minimum of three years, attending weekly meetings and taking part in monthly (or more frequent) performances, readings and retreats. Applications, which open each February, require a 25-page writing sample, a statement on why the applicant considers themselves early-career, a resume and a full-length play.
Eligibility
NYC-metro playwrights primarily under 31 (early-career explanation accepted if older); 25-page sample, full-length play, resume, letter.
