Workspace Residency / Arts Center Residency / Process Space

Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) runs studio-based residencies for New York artists across visual, performing and literary disciplines, including the Arts Center Residency at Governors Island, the Workspace residency and Process Space. The Arts Center Residency is an eight-month program focused on projects at the intersection of art and climate, providing individual workspace, a materials stipend, access to rehearsal studios, Open Studios and participation in LMCC programming; the 2026 cohort of 18 artists was chosen through a closed nomination process.
