The USA Fellowship from United States Artists awards $50,000 in unrestricted funding to artists and collaboratives across ten disciplines, including Theater & Performance, plus access to services such as financial planning, career consulting, legal advice and personal care. Artists cannot apply directly: a rotating group of arts professionals anonymously nominates candidates each year, discipline panels select finalists, and the board approves the class. The 2026 class of 50 fellows included theater artists Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, Mei Ann Teo, Mina Morita, Tanya Orellana and Ty Defoe.

Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance, recently announced that Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists (DFA) has awarded $1,000,525 in funding to 31 dance artists addressing social change through their work.
American Ballet Theatre Soloist Catherine Hurlin is the recipient of a 2018 Princess Grace Award (Barbara & John Lehman Dance Award).
