Travis Bogard Artist in Residence Program

The Travis Bogard Artist in Residence Program, established in 2015 by the Eugene O'Neill Foundation, provides a working retreat at Tao House (the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site in Danville, California) for developing or established playwrights, scholars, artists and critics of the performing arts. Residencies of one to three weeks are available between April and October; fellows are housed off-site with meals and local transportation provided, spend their days working at Tao House, and have access to its theatre library and O'Neill archive. The Foundation asks fellows to participate in an event and to share a copy of the resulting work; a Carey Perloff Fellowship within the program supports established theatre artists transitioning into writing.
