Overview
New York Stage & Film's Summer Season residencies place selected artists at its summer developmental season (held at Marist University in 2026) to observe, incubate or work on a project. Named awards include the Pfaelzer Award, which provides a monetary prize, residency and mentorship from Johanna Pfaelzer; the Founders' Award, which gives an early-career writer a monetary award, extended residency and support for a self-curated project; and residencies for Drama League directing fellows. Recipients are chosen by panels of past honorees rather than through an open application.
Eligibility
Mostly by invitation/curation; Dasha Epstein Fellowship limited to Barnard students/alumni. Founders' and Pfaelzer Awards selected internally.
