Producing Fellowship

PlayGround's Producing Fellowship is a year-long (August through July), part-time paid program that develops next-generation theatre leaders across the company's four regions, with one fellow typically selected from each of the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. Fellows work about four hours per week via Zoom at $20 per hour with PlayGround's artistic staff and national producing teams, gaining hands-on training in fundraising and grant writing, theatre management, marketing and communications, and elements of literary management and casting, with priority given to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled applicants. Recent cycles required a cover letter with artistic statement, resume, and two references submitted via Google Form, with applications due at the end of May.
