$20,000 unrestricted + up to $10,000 development budget
The Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship provides a year of support to one early-career playwright who has not yet had a professional production in New York City. The fellow receives an unrestricted $20,000 award plus a development budget of up to an additional $10,000, managed with Page 73, to develop one or more new plays of their choosing. Fellows are chosen through Page 73's unified annual application; past recipients include Quiara Alegría Hudes, Heidi Schreck, Clare Barron, Hansol Jung and Sanaz Toossi, and the 2026 fellow is Adin Lenahan.
