Overview

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company's Miranda Family Fellowship Program, run in partnership with Lin-Manuel Miranda's family fund, provides candidates from historically underrepresented communities with paid, two-year, department-specific entry-level associate positions with health insurance to build careers as arts administrators or theatre technicians. The fifth cohort, beginning August 2026, includes fellowships in Connectivity, New Work, Producing, and Production; fellows receive intra-departmental mentorship, professional development and coaching, site visits to local arts organizations, monthly conversations with industry leaders, and anti-racism training, and also join the Miranda Family Fund's Management Track (quarterly modules in year one, monthly one-on-one coaching in year two). Applications were submitted by email with an April 6 deadline; a sixth cohort is anticipated for summer 2028.

Eligibility

Historically underrepresented candidates (esp. Black and Indigenous communities); must be 21 by Aug 1, 2026 and finished with any degree program; non-US residents may apply but no visa sponsorship; apply to one position only

Notes

Verified on Woolly site (job descriptions posted March 2, 2026; fifth cohort). Fellows join Miranda Family Fund Management Track with quarterly modules (year 1) and monthly coaching (year 2). Also lists Arts & Social Justice Fellows.
