Overview
The Hangar Theatre Lab Company Performance Fellowship in Ithaca, NY is a summer residency for college students and early-career actors, selected through a fully virtual application. Fellows are cast in multiple roles across the KIDDSTUFF theatre-for-young-audiences series and possibly mainstage productions, may assist in the Next Generation School of Theatre, and take workshops with visiting professionals while working alongside Hangar directing and design fellows. Compensation is a $300 weekly stipend, housing, and up to $200 in travel; the 2026 program ran May 27 to July 27 with an April 6 deadline.
Eligibility
College students and artists transitioning to the professional world; entirely virtual application; cast in KIDDSTUFF TYA shows, mainstage roles and possible teaching assignments.
