The Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship supports early-career artists based in Minnesota or New York City working across fields including theater, performance and spoken word, dance, film, literature, music, technology-centered arts and visual arts. Fellows receive a three-year award of $60,000 ($20,000 per year) to support flexible, self-designed plans for their creative work; the foundation favors artists who take creative risks and challenge cultural norms. Forty-five fellows were named for 2025-2028 and the application is closed until it reopens in 2027.
