$425/week stipend plus housing (if needed) and travel stipend
The Hangar Theatre Design Fellowships, running since the early 2000s in Ithaca, NY, select one fellow each in costume, lighting, scenic and sound design to spend the summer in residence. Fellows design the KIDDSTUFF theatre-for-young-audiences productions in collaboration with Hangar directing fellows and may assist professional designers on mainstage shows, working closely with department heads and the production manager. Compensation is a $425 weekly stipend, housing if needed and a travel stipend; 2026 program dates were June 29 to July 26.
One fellow per discipline; fellows design the KIDDSTUFF theatre-for-young-audiences series and may assist Mainstage designers. Aimed at bridging education and professional work.

On the evening of Saturday, December 5, the Hangar Theatre Company will host a virtual FUNdraiser, Holiday Spirits with the Hangar.
At 7:30 PM EST on Sunday, November 1, the Hangar Theatre Company will present a virtual stream of a new play, Dear Hope, by Joy Peskin, directed by Michael Barakiva.
At 7:30 PM EDT on Friday October 16, the Hangar Theatre Company will present the virtual presentation, The Inferior Sex, by Jacqueline E.
At 7:30 PM EDT on Saturday August 15, the Hangar Theatre Company will host the Tom Niederkorn Memorial Celebration.
