Clubbed Thumb's Early-Career Writers' Group brings together eight playwrights for a season to develop new work, build community with one another, and meet industry professionals. The cohort's works-in-progress are presented as readings during Clubbed Thumb's annual Summerworks festival in May/June. The program is supported by the Barbara Bell Cumming Charitable Trust and the Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation; alumni include Sarah DeLappe, Will Arbery, Sanaz Toossi and Eboni Booth.
