Overview
The Djerassi Resident Artists Program provides fully funded one-month residencies on a 583-acre ranch in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California for writers, visual and media artists, composers, choreographers, filmmakers and scientists. Over 42 years it has hosted more than 2,700 artists, with room, board and studio space provided at no cost. Applications for the 2027 season are accepted September 1 through October 9, 2026 via SlideRoom.
Eligibility
Open internationally to artists in all disciplines including choreography, performance and media arts.
