Seeking actors (m/f) for the following available roles:

Dane:

Seeking actor late teens+ to believably play age 17. The star student of the high school. Popular, smart, witty and wise beyond his years. The class golden boy by every measure.

Chelsea:

Seeking actress late teens+ to believably play age 17. Dane's girlfriend. Beautiful and exhaustively put together. The queen of the popular girls, she has embraced her role as the “grieving widow” and, in spite of her heartbreak, is enjoying the attention.

Rachel:

Seeking actress late teens+ to believably play age 17. Dane's sister. Works hard to hide her beauty, pain and vulnerability behind a tough exterior of sarcasm and cruelty. Beyond the hard facade is a little girl whose heart is breaking over the loss of her brother.

Kyle:

Seeking actor late teens+ to believably play age 17. Dane's friend. Plays no sports, wins no academic accolades, contributes little to the school community, and yet is still among the most admired, popular kids in school. He means well and tries to keep up with those around him, but is completely mentally and emotionally unprepared to deal with the weight and complexity of a friend's death.

Steve:

Late 20s. Suburban high school guidance counselor. Always well-meaning. His enormous heart makes him perpetually anxious to do and say all the right things, and that nervous energy belies his massive intellect.

Andrea:

Early 40s. Dane's mother. Struck with grief and regret, she is only beginning to process both her loss, and her inability to take back her mistakes, secrets and lies. She neglected the love of one man in order to care for her son, and is now forced to recognize and live with the loss of both.
