ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE

Patsy: Accomplished Country/Western vocalist, late 20's-30's who can create a credible physical and vocal impersonation of the late, great, Patsy Cline. Curvy, earthy, and entergetic - a real firecracker. Mezzo/Contralto

Louise: Accomplished actress/singer 40's-50's. Charismatic downhome raconteur with a ribald sense of humor. Should have a zany and untiquely unforgettable personality all her own.

LEGALLY BLONDE

Elle Woods: Iconic California Girl - feminine, sexy, fun-loving, and energetic Leadying Lady mid-late 20's. Soprano with a strong mix/belt who is athletic and moves extremely well. A star performer whoknows how to charm.

Paulette: Quirky soubrette late 30's-40's with a strong comedic sensibility. Curvy and decidedly blue collar with a strong Mezzo mix/belt. Must move very well.

Vivienne Kensington: Perfectly manicured Brooks Brothers Princess mid-late 20's. The ulitmate power woman

- intelligent, intimidating, and wonderfully self-involved. Soprano with a strong belt/mix.

Serena: The ultimate Cheerleader - sexy, driven, and energetic. Soprano with a strong mix/belt. Accomplished singer/dancer.

Margot: The ultimate Valley Girl airhead - sweet, with a baby-doll sexiness. Soprano with a strong mix/belt. Accomplished singer/dancer.

Pilar: Ethnic Sorority Coed. Sexy and energetic with a ribald comic sensibility. 2nd Soprano/Mezzo with a strong mix/belt. Accomplished singer/dancer.

Brooke Wyndham: Perfectly manicured Exercise Guru late 20's-30's. Toned, determined, athletic - the perfect female specimen. Soprano/2nd Soprano with a strong mix/belt. Accomplishedsinger/dancer.

Enid: Iconic Militant Lesbian mid-late 20s - Mezzo Soprano who moves well. Accomplished actress/singer with a strong comic sensibility.

Kate/Chutney: Accomplished actress/singer mid 20s - Soprano who moves well. Actress must play 2 distinct roles. As Kate: the little sister outsider - eager, very intelligent, a bit of a smart aleck. As Chutney: a walking Tim Burton cartoon: wealthy, deranged murderess.

Padamadan/Nikos: Ethnic appearing Actor/Singer mid-late 20s with a quirky comic sensibility. Should move very well/dance skills a plus. Actor plays 2 roles. As Padamadan - Priviledged and intelligentMiddle-Eastern Prince. As Nikos - sexually ambivalent Hispanic pool boy. Tenor.
