[STORYTELLER #2]

25-45; Any gender identity. Any ethnicity. Has a contemporary hipster vibe, a ‘back on their heels’ easiness, but also a razor sharp wit and delivery. They function in the story as one of two closely connected narrators who, through comedy and song, guide the audience’s journey using their own unique brand of humor. Part Yoda, Part Kerouac, Part Nietzsche [if he had a tattoo on his butt that said ‘make good choices’] they comment, participate, warn, philosophize, and guide the action from scene to scene, often giving a personal POV that has political and philosophical undertones. This inviting character can identify as any gender, has a beguiling confidence and a warm yet cynical twinkle. Believing there is no time like the future, they are hoping their story and the slightly sarcastic and heartfelt way they reveal it, can help heal the divide that is damaging the spirit of our nation. Through their guidance, perhaps we can start to see those that are different than us…. differently. Sings well.
