BREAKDOWN

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Slate with first /last name, union status, pronouns, and city of residence.

CABARET

All roles will be understudied.

Seeking:

Clifford Bradshaw – (Bass-Baritone); Male, an American writer who has come to Berlin in order to write a novel.

Sally Bowles – (Alto); Female, a British flapper who is the headlining chanteuse at the seedy Kit Kat Klub.

The Emcee – (Baritenor); Male or Non-Binary, the Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub, a leering, flamboyant figure.

Fräulein Schneider – (Contralto); Female, a German woman who runs the boarding house where Cliff and Sally reside.

Herr Schultz – (Baritenor); Male, a German-Jewish fruit shop owner who falls in love with Fräulein Schneider.

Ernst Ludwig – (Baritone); Male, a German smuggler who befriends Cliff when he arrives in Berlin, later revealed to be a Nazi.

Fräulein Kost – (Mezzo-Soprano); Female, a German sex worker who rents a room in Fräulein Schneider's boarding house who supports the Nazi cause.

Max – Male, the proprietor of the Kit Kat Klub and Sally's former boyfriend.

ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME

Both roles will be understudied.

Seeking:

Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton - Male, an Anglo-Irish Antarctic explorer who led three British expeditions to the Antarctic. He was one of the principal figures of the period known as the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration. Plays some basic banjo.

Kat - Female, a sleep-deprived single mom who struggles to balance her family and career as a video game music composer. Plays advanced violin, keyboard and some banjo.

TWO BY TWO

Roles will not be understudied.

Seeking:

Noah - Male, your average 600-year-old, working-class guy from the Bronx, somehow transported back to the days of Genesis.

Esther - Female, a steady and steadfast woman, long-suffering and married to Noah.

Japheth - Male, a practical man and the family engineer. The youngest son, idealistic and angry who still lives at home.

Shem - Male, a materialistic man, married to Leah. Successful in the olive business.

Leah - Female, a materialistic woman, married to Shem.

Ham - Male, the second and prodigal son, who gambles and neglects his wife Rachel.

Rachel - Female, in love with her brother-in-law, Japheth.

Goldie - Female, a Golden Girl from the nearby Temple of the Golden Ram.
